Extreme® Series Door Drive & Control System

This door features our first intelligent control panel - the APEX Pro SmartController™ . It features:

Plug-and-play connections between the motor, control panel, and standard sensors
LCD screen that walks user through:
- Initial door commissioning
- Electrically set limits
- Status and error messages
- Many common door adjustments

This door also comes with a compact direct drive operator with no roller chains or sprockets and an internal inertia brake for safety.

Service Door Curtain:

Standard construction up to 30' wide, 20' high

Insulated Door Curtain:

Standard construction up to 24' wide, 20' high*

*Maximum allowable for height and width independently. Not all configurations available for combined maximum widths and heights. Please consult factory for more information.

Usage

These doors are constructed for continuous use and are warrantied up to 300,000 cycles (or two years). Need more than 300,000 cycles, but less than a million? This door can be upgraded to offer 500,000 cycles with a 3 year warranty.

If you have an opening that only needs standard cycles, meaning less than 20 cycles per day, please consider our standard service or insulated product lines.

Standard Materials & Finishes

Extreme® 300 Series Performance Doors come with a unique and lasting powder coat finish customized for high-cycle usage as standard. There are two material options for both the service and insulated curtain:

Galvanized steel:
- Finished with a rust-inhibiting CycleShield™ finish in Gray, Tan or White
- The CycleShield finish for High Performance Doors. The base coat is consistent with ASTM A653, and is finished with a baked-on polyester powder coating. CycleShield is:
  - Friction and wear-resistant for high-cycle applications
  - Rust inhibiting and resistant to acids, alkalis and oils at normal temperatures
  - Recommended for exterior, corrosive and/or abrasive environments
  - Available as an option in a palette of more than 180 standard RAL colors
- For a more durable finish, upgrade to CycleShield® Ultra™ powder coat finish. It is a polyester-based, textured, wear-resistant clear coat that provides improved durability against deterioration and/or marring of the curtain during regular use.

Designed with a flexible black rubber TPE material, our new sensing edge has two fins that conform to variations in the floor on both the interior and exterior of your door or grille ensuring a secure seal without requiring you to overset the bottom door limit. The sensing edge is easy to clean and remains free from rust and dirt stains, maintaining a fresh uniform appearance. With flexible 1" sealing fins, our sensing edges provide maximum protection while withstanding the elements.
