Compliant with IBC Chapter 10 Means of Egress requirements, it’s ideal for compartmentalizing schools, transit hubs, and public venues. Upon alarm activation, the coiling grille immediately and automatically opens to its fully raised position—requiring zero electrical power to deploy. This instant clearing of the opening provides a reliable, code-compliant egress path. Once the emergency is cleared, the system easily resets to its standard security configuration with the touch of a button.
This emergency capability does not compromise building security. When the grille is down, our patented AutoLock automatically secures the curtain to prevent manual, forced-entry attempts, and remains disengaged during normal operations and emergencies. Crafted for durability, the rugged open-air design blocks unauthorized access to restricted zones while maintaining maximum visibility and ventilation.
