When a standard rolling door is exposed to high winds, the curtain deflects and binds against the guides, rendering it inoperable. Clopay Wind-Master^®doors solve this challenge with specialized roller endlocks and windlocks, allowing the door to glide seamlessly through the guides under an active operational wind load of 20 PSF. Additionally, the advanced springless design eliminates mechanical resistance, utilizing the door's full weight to ensure smooth, reliable operation.

Available in service and insulated models, Wind-Master doors deliver flexible design, top-tier security, and rugged durability. When fully closed, they also provide exceptional static wind load resistance based on curtain size. For applications requiring enhanced climate control or reduced sound transmission, the insulated model is the ideal choice.

The minimum size of a Wind-Master Service or Insulated door is 6'4" wide x 6'4" high.

The maximum size of a Wind-Master door is:

Service Door

20'5" wide x 20' high (Steel)
20'5" wide x 16' high (Stainless Steel)

Insulated Door

20'5" wide x 20'4" high (Steel)
20'5" wide x 20'4" high (Stainless Steel)

Operator

The Wind-Master Operational Wind Load Door must be motor operated.

It features a super duty SG operator with full logic. It can be used on larger doors or doors which may periodically cycle more than 20 times per day

Sensing Edge - Entrapment Protection Device

Designed with a flexible black rubber TPE material, our new sensing edge has two fins that conform to variations in the floor on both the interior and exterior of your door or grille ensuring a secure seal without requiring you to overset the bottom door limit. The sensing edge is easy to clean and remains free from rust and dirt stains, maintaining a fresh uniform appearance. With flexible 1" sealing fins, our sensing edges provide maximum protection while withstanding the elements.
