Roll Up Fire Resistant Door Systems
In the event of a fire, our roll up fire doors are engineered to save lives and protect property by compartmentalizing building areas and isolating the incident. In addition to preventing the migration of fire, they also provide security and access control in wall openings that are not a required means of egress.
These fire protectives provide the opportunity for simple, reliable, fail safe activation that seals the openings at the first hint of a fire.
Fire doors are manufactured to your specifications to seal these openings where rated doors are required by building codes when insurance mandates must be met.
SmokeShield® for Fire Rated Coiling Doors
Our fire rated rolling doors are also available with an optional SmokeShield® package. This package adds smoke and draft control which is listed to UL1784, assuring that smoke is compartmentalized with the fire and not spread throughout the facility.
Our rolling fire door is UL listed, Factory Mutual Approved and listed with the California Office of the State Fire Marshall. It is also listed for fire protection ratings of 45 minute, 90 minute, 3 and 4 hours.
A standard UL labeled fire door is available up to 13.5' wide by 12' high.
An oversized UL labeled fire door is available up to 60' wide by 40' high or 1,200 sq. ft.

Check Out How We've Helped These Clients With Custom Closure Solutions:
"CornellCookson had installed a rolling door for us in our old building. We used it all the time and it’s held up really well over the years. Calling them in again made perfect sense. We are thrilled with how this door looks. The level of detail that’s been captured so clearly on this large door is incredible. It’s exceeded our expectations by far and will definitely do its job as a focal point in our new building."
MARK WORMAN, OWNER OF GRAVEYARD CARZ
"Warehouse security is vital to us as a brewery, and to our employees, but it is also important to TTB (Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau). Having the protection of a coiling steel product completely eliminates that concern. We are really happy with the way the 1024 performs. It is very quiet and the fact that safety features like the light curtain are standard gives us peace of mind knowing that the door system is clearly designed to protect our people and equipment."
RICK DEBAR, TECHNICAL MANAGER AT OMMEGANG BREWERY
"The SteelWeave Metal Mesh Grille was the perfect solution to meet all of our needs. It complimented the design of the bar and lobby while adding some elegance. We could not be happier with the look and function of our CornellCookson SteelWeave Metal Mesh Grille and custom sliding panel."
