Our Firemiser™ rolling door combines the life-safety benefits of a coiling fire door with the energy efficiency and sound reduction of an insulated system. During an emergency, the door closes automatically to form a physical barrier that compartmentalizes fire and smoke, protecting both lives and property. To prevent thermal and acoustic transfer, the door is insulated with mineral wool, delivering a Sound Transmission Class rating, an R-value of 5.3, and a U-factor of 0.189. This makes it ideal for exterior openings, future expansions, or interior spaces requiring quiet, temperature-controlled environments.
Rigorously tested, our insulated roll-up doors are UL Listed, Factory Mutual Approved, and California State Fire Marshal listed, with protection ratings ranging from 45 minutes to 4 hours. For complete compliance, the optional SmokeShield® package on Model ERD21 adds a UL 1784-listed barrier to mitigate smoke migration.
