AlarmGard Fire Motor Operator for Rolling Doors | Cornell

Fire Operator

Model Number: Fail-Safe Fire Door Operator

The AlarmGard motor operator is a bracket mounted chassis operator that is designed to close a rolling Fire closure in the event of an alarm being activated or an extended loss of power. The door can be set with a 1 to 10 second delay before it closes at a safe and constant speed of 9”-12” per second. Once the alarm is cleared or power is restored to the building, the door will automatically reset to the programmed position. This eliminates time and additional expenses that are involved in manually resetting each door after an alarm or power outage.

The AlarmGard chassis operator is recommended for applications that are not ideal for manual testing and resetting, for fire doors that are installed in pedestrian through fares, for recessed areas and where nuisance drops are to be avoided due to temporary power outages.
